Last Friday, Mr. Ott’s class was visited by their pen pals from Ivy Tech. They celebrated with a gift exchange. Mr. Ott’s class gave them gift boxes full of things to help them with finals; coffee, snacks, etc. The Ivy Tech students brought each kid a hand-made matching scarf and hat set and some other goodies as well. As you can see from the pictures, everyone had a great time. They with all meet up again when Mr. Ott takes his class to Ivy Tech on their field trip.
Mr. Worrell's 3rd grade class has adopted Trine University! They were recently visited by a Trine representative who spoke to the students about college at Trine. He even gave them each a Trine t-shirt! Then the students had a surprise visit by "Storm" the Trine mascot!
