New DAWN

Enrollment is now open for New DAWN after school to any student grades 2 through 6. This program begins Tuesday, September 2nd and runs through May 21st.  Monday through Thursday students will have a nutritious snack after school before beginning Homework Club.  Students without homework will enjoy their favorite academic enrichments from last year & more.

Students will have late bus transportation to drop off points.

A $50 fee must be paid prior to each trimester to reserve a student seat in this program.  This averages out to 63¢per hour for a safe, fun, learning environment.

WHAT IS NewDAWN

New DAWN is an After School Program providing a safe environment after school with homework support, a healthy snack, enrichment activities and shuttle bus transportation to area drop off locations.

First Trimester staff at WNE include Mrs. Lisa Crick, Miss Courtney Patton, and Mrs. Maria Herrera. Enrichments include Science Central, Ag in the Classroom, Legos, and Martial Arts.

First Trimester teachers at WNMS are Mrs. Stephanie Montgomery and Miss Christina Pena. They will be on site to help students with homework in the first hour after school. We will also be collaborating with Drug Free Noble County's STAR - Students Taking Actions Responsibly and YMCA's Girl Power second hour.

New DAWN registration forms are available below. Completed forms can be mailed to LEAP of Noble County, 833 E Main Street, Albion, IN 46701 or sent to school with your child.

New DAWN REGISTRATION FEES 14-15

After school Registration Fee - $50 per trimester = .63 per hour. Fees are due by the following dates.

  • 1st Trimester - August 29, 2014
  • 2nd Trimester - November 6, 2014
  • 3rd Trimester - February 19, 2015

LIGONIER LEARNING CENTER 14-15

  • Conveniently located inside WNMS, LEAPs Ligonier Learning Center provides small group homework help and tutoring for grades Pre-k through 8th grade.
  • Open hours for the Ligonier Learning Center are: Monday-Thursday 3:30 pm - 7:30 pm
